The Drama Department mounts
three stage productions a year—a comedy, drama,
and musical—exposing students to a variety of
genres and the excitement of live performance. Faculty
emphasize the collaborative nature of stagecraft and
offer instruction in speech, acting, directing, stage
managing, lighting, set design, construction, makeup,
film, and video. Members of Phoenix, the School’s
honorary drama society, stage several productions of
their own, while “Touring Talent” troupes
perform service by appearing before local community
groups.
