Once you have decided to move forward with the application process, the following steps must be completed (in no specific order) by:
- Day Student Applications (Middle School and Upper School): January 5, 2008

Boarding Student Applications (Upper School only):
February 5, 2008
Late applications are being considered since a few openings are still available.
1. Campus Tour
We request that all applicants
visit the campus for an interview. If a campus interview
is not possible, an off-campus
or telephone interview can be arranged. Please contact
the Office of Admission to begin the application procedure. Directions

2. Application: Student and Parent Sections
Submit a complete application, including the application fee, to the Office of Admission. Applications are available from the Office of Admission, you can download them, or apply online. It is helpful, but not necessary, for you to complete the application by the time of your visit.
3. School Reports, Transcripts
and Recommendations
Give the school report release form, math teacher recommendation form, and the English teacher recommendation form to your current school with stamped return
envelopes addressed to the Office of Admission. Ask
that the forms be completed by your current teachers and mailed to The Masters School by
the deadline. It is important that your school send two completed years of transcripts, in addition to your current grades. If you attended more than one school during this time, please ask both schools to send transcripts. Do not hesitate to check with your school
to make sure the forms have been mailed.
4. Take
Either SSAT
or ISEE
Entrance Examinations
If you are applying to The Masters
School in any grade, from 5th to 11th, you will need
to take one of the entrance exams. A list of test sites and dates
may be found in test registration booklets provided
upon request from the Office of Admission or from the
SSAT
or ISEE
websites. In addition to the ISEE or SSAT, international students for whom English is not the primary language, are required to take the TOEFL exam in order to establish their level of proficiency in English. Information on this test is available at TOEFL.
Once you have submitted the required documents, please call the the Office of Admission
to make sure that all paperwork has been received and
is in good order.
