"Those who came before
were generous with their resources--their time,
talent, and treasure. They established a legacy that represents the institution that we have today. Our duty is to build on the generosity of our predecessors to make sure that The Masters School continues to be strong next year, and in fifty years, and a hundred and fifty years from now."
Lynn Pilzer Sobel '71,
P'99, '05, Chair of the
Board of Trustees

The Annual Fund provides nearly 10% of the school’s
operating budget. These crucial funds make the difference
between a good school and a school that is truly vibrant.
These gifts, unlike gifts to the Endowment Fund or for
capital purposes, are used each year to finance activities
and staffing, which tuition and endowment income do
not cover. This year’s Annual Fund provides:
- More than 50 faculty professional
development grants for our current teachers;
- Key resources, tools, and materials for our College Counseling Office;
- Funding for equipment, transportation, and coaching for our athletic programs;
- Support for more than 30 clubs,
including DAA, Glee Club, MISH, and Phoenix;
- New computers and library books;
and
- Financial aid for students in need.
All those who support the Annual Fund
are listed in the Annual Report of Donors, which is sent
to all our constituents in the fall (unless you wish your gift to remain anonymous). To make a gift
or learn more, please call Audrey Jensen, director of
the annual fund, at 914-479-6576 or email audreyjensen@themastersschool.com.
