“There is a spirit of generosity that flows through our campus. Students enthusiastically give their time, energy and talents to dozens of charities each year. Alumnae/i donate generously, demonstrating appreciation for their education and Dobbs friendships. Parents and grandparents invest resources above and beyond tuition. We are also fortunate to have the financial backing of friends and neighbors. We are deeply thankful and inspired by this outpouring of support.”

Capital Gifts
For the first time in 30 years, there is major new construction on our magnificent campus. As a result, we can offer significant dedication opportunities for donors providing major gifts ($20,000 to $5 million) for our building projects. These naming opportunities are available in the new Science and Technology Center, Masters Hall, and in the new Middle School. You may choose, for example, to dedicate a classroom or laboratory in honor—or in memory—of an alumna/us, or as a lasting way to associate your family’s connection to Dobbs.

The formal dedication ceremony for the new Science and Technology Center took place on Saturday, May 14, 2005, during Reunion Weekend. At that time, all major capital donors to the Center had their names prominently displayed within the new building. Anonymous gifts, of course, may also be made.

Capital gifts may be paid outright or pledged over two to five years. In addition to making your gift with cash or a credit card, you may use gifts of stock, a trust, an irrevocable bequest, insurance policy, or other assets.

If you would like to learn more or discuss making a gift to support the school’s building projects, please call Sophia Primps, Director of Development, at 914-479-6575, or send an e-mail to sprimps@themastersschool.com.
