On May 9 and 10, eight lively dances, each choreographed by a MUSE member and based on the words of Dr. Seuss’s book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, were performed on the Claudia Boettcher Theatre stage before an appreciative audience of students, faculty, parents, and friends.
Dr Seuss’s message to those starting out in the world concerns life and its challenges, and that although there may be loneliness, slumps, and frights, if you have brains in your head and feet in your shoes you can go anywhere and do anything.
Under the auspices of advisor and dance teacher Becky Timms, the eight dancers, eight actors, and a tech crew of nine brought Dr. Seuss’s words to life. Did the dancers and actors succeed? Yes they did indeed! “(98 3/4% guaranteed.)”
