News From Masters
The year's Spring Shorts, featuring three student-directed comedies, will be performed at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 27 and at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 28 in the Fonseca Center's Experimental Theater.
The one-act plays are An Imperfect Metaphor, written by senior Owen Gifford-Smith and directed by junior Leah Cunningham; Juliet and Her Guy Romeo, by playwright Dan Zolidis, directed by junior A.J. Daniels; Totally Over You, by playwright Mark Ravenhill, directed by senior Laine Philipps. The stage managers are freshman Emma Listokin, senior Claire Fink and freshman Jenny Nykonorova. Claire is also the lighting designer for all three productions. Junior Jake Hoffman helped with the choreography.
This year's Spring Shorts company of over 40 students includes several students who are appearing in their first Masters theater production, according to Chris Briante, Spring Shorts Supervisor.
Doors will open at 6:40 PM for the 7:00 PM performances and at 2:45 PM for the 3:00 PM performance. Please note that after a show has started, there will be no entry or reentry until intermission.
